Tiemonium Methylsulphate is an antispasmodic drug. It reduces muscle spasms of the intestine, biliary system, uterus & urinary bladder. It is indicated for the pain in gastrointestinal & biliary disease in the urology and gynecology such as gastroenteritis, diarrhea, dysentery, biliary colic, enterocolitis, cholecystytis, colonopathyes, mild cystitis, & spasmodic dysmenorrhoea.
Antispasmodic
Xelcom 50 mg Tablet: Recommended oral dose of Tiemonium Methylsulphate
tablet is 2-6 tablets (100-300 mg) daily in divided dosage as required.
Xelcom 5 mg/2 ml Injection: Recommended injectable dose is one or two Tiemonium Methylsulphate Injection three times daily, through Intravenous route slowly or Intramuscular route.
Tiemonium Methylsulphate tablet should not be used in Glucoma or where acute pain of eyeball with vision disturbance was found. Also this drug should not be
used in patients with the disorder of prostate or urinary bladder.
Side effect with the use of Tiemonium Methylsulphate tablet is very rare.
Pregnancy:
Tiemonium Methylsulphate tablet may be used in pregnancy only if it is clearly needed by the assessment of risk benefit ratio.
Lactating mother:
Tiemonium Methylsulphate tablet may be used in lactating mother only if it is clearly needed by the assessment of risk benefit ratio. patients have not been established.
Store in a cool & dry place at below 30°C, protect from light.
