One tablet daily with food or as recommended by physician.
Generally, this preparation is well tolerated. Diarrhorea may occasionally occur during treatment with beta-carotene and the skin may assume a slightly yellow discoloration. The side effects of vitamin A are reversible. Vitamin C and vitamin E may cause diarrhea and other gastrointestinal disturbances.
This product is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Long term intake of high levels of vitamin A (excluding that sourced from beta carotene) may increase the risk of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women.
